This network is made up of a number of organisations, from both private and public sector at a national, regional and local level.

National support

UK Trade and Investment (UKTI):

Homes And Communities Agency:
The national homes and regeneration agency.


BIS - Department for Business, Innovation & Skills:
Works to create the right conditions for business success in the UK.

Department for Communities and Local Government:
Sets the overall strategy for the development of the Thames Gateway.

Regional development

The 3 Thames Gateway Regional Development Agencies:
SEEDA, EEDA and LDA: Responsible for economic development and business support within the Thames Gateway region.

Think London and East of England International:
The inward investment agencies for London and the East of England.

London Thames Gateway Development Corporation and Thurrock Thames Gateway Development Corporation:
Responsible for the development of large parts of the Thames Gateway.

Sub-regional partners

Olympic Park Legacy Company:
The Olympic Park Legacy Company is the organisation responsible for planning, developing and managing the Park after the 2012 Games.

Gateway to London:
A dedicated investment agency for London Thames Gateway.

Locate in Kent:
Investment partner for Kent Thameside, Medway and Swale, collectively known as Thames Gateway Kent.

Invest Essex:
The sub regional investment agency responsible for the Thames Gateway South Essex area.

Kent Thameside Regeneration Partnership
Kent Thameside encompasses the thriving town centres of Dartford and Gravesend, plus Bluewater, Ebbsfleet International and Ebbsfleet Valley – identified as one of four ‘transformational’ projects in the Thames Gateway.

Thames Gateway South Essex
The Thames Gateway South Essex Partnership aims to deliver a better quality of life for all those who live and work in the area, believing that through one strong voice it can effect change by improving South Essex for years to come. It is committed to helping deliver 55,000 new jobs and 43,800 new homes to the region by 2021 through regeneration.

Situated on the south bank of the River Thames in the south east of London, Greenwich benefits from excellent transport links, providing easy access to the rest of London, Europe and international destinations.Large scale development is making Greenwich one of the best places in Europe to live, work and do business.
