Medway - Isle Of Grain
The 700 acre site, on the Isle of Grain on the Hoo Peninsula is a former BP landholding. The site will be used by energy and power generation related organisations and large dock side-based manufacturing/assembly operation for the environmental technologies sector.
Medway is in Thames Gateway Kent and consists of Chatham, Gillingham, Rainham, Rochester and Strood. The Medway Innovation Centre is a new and exciting business led venture which is a partnership between BAE Systems, Medway Council, the Universities of Kent and Greenwich and the Royal Bank of Scotland. An incubator for high-tech small businesses and start-ups, it aims to assist companies through the difficult start up phase and turn innovative technology solutions into thriving businesses.
