ProLogis RFI Howbury
ProLogis RFI Howbury will provide innovative distribution facilities of 2.1 million sq ft.
The experiences and knowledge gained from ProLogis’ facilities elsewhere will be employed to offer an on-site intermodal terminal and rail connected warehouses.
Whether you opt to transport your goods by rail or by road, ProLogis RFI Howbury is strategically located near the M25 at Dartford and will provide occupiers with an unrivalled choice of connections; superb motorway links, deep sea ports offering freight directly by rail, other UK rail termini and through the Channel Tunnel.
ProLogis RFI Howbury will deliver significant CSR benefits and carbon savings through its intermodal facility, rail connected units and sustainable forms of construction. The development is targeted to reduce lorry miles and annual carbon emissions of over 35,000 tonnes per annum. Water consumption will be 20% lower than in conventional warehouse developments. The cost benefits to distribution companies will only grow with the increasing cost of fuel, water, other energy and valuable labour resources such as HGV drivers.
As sea freight continues to grow and with the further development of our sea ports, rail freight is fast becoming a necessity, as our customers continue to source from a growing number of countries abroad.
