Basildon
Basildon, a key location within the Thames Gateway, is a priority area for development and the commercial centre of South Essex with a broad, thriving industrial base and prestigious shopping centre. Located centrally within the Thames Gateway, Basildon is 25 miles from central London and home to 167,000 people. It’s a key employment centre within the Thames Gateway with nearly 60,000 people working there.
The £30 million redevelopment of Basildon Town Centre presents a great potential for change.
