Southend
Southend-on-Sea, situated at the mouth of the Thames Estuary within the Thames Gateway, has long been a favourite coastal resort with its close proximity to London. Famous for its record breaking Pier and sandy beach, the Town also has a huge range of attractions to offer, including its newly developed Town Centre and retail outlets.

Southend Town Centre provides 1.3 million square feet of retail floor space. It comprises of a pedestrianised High Street, and is anchored at both ends by two large shopping centres, The Royals at the south end and The Victoria (formerly known as Victoria Plaza) at the north end.
Improvements to the shopping provision in Southend-on-Sea are ongoing, with a major redevelopment taking place at The Victoria. An investment of £21.5 million will see the complete modernisation of the Town Centre, much of which will be undercover, creating a more pleasurable entrance to the High Street from Southend Victoria train station.
