Canterbury Christ Church University
Based in the historic city of Canterbury, with four more campuses at Broadstairs, Folkestone, Medway and Tunbridge Wells in the beautiful county of Kent, the University offers excellent teaching facilities to nearly 16,000 full and part-time students.
The university is the largest centre of higher education in Kent for the public services - notably teacher training, nursing, policing, health and social care - and a significant provider of programmes in a wide range of academic and professional areas. In total they offer over a thousand academic and professional study programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

- Education:
Working in partnership with schools, colleges, universities and governments, the Faculty of Education has led the way in developing transformational programmes and projects including Teach First, 14 – 19 dual certification (FENTO and QTS), Early Years foundation degrees and a doctorate in education (EdD); special educational needs, mobile working, counselling and school improvement, and iTeach, the UK's first online teacher training programme
Health:
The Canterbury and Medway campuses have a fully equipped operating theatre with two ‘Sim-men’ for realistic operations and twooccupational therapy workshops, x-ray suites and training wards.- Knowledge Transfer:
The University’s commitment to Knowledge Transfer is conducted mainly from Hall Place Enterprise Centre in Canterbury and Salomons Campus, Tunbridge Wells, working with the public services, the voluntary sector and supporting the local business community. - Research:
The University’s research in Music, Education, History and Sport related studies is ‘internationally recognised’, ‘internationally excellent’ and, in some cases, ‘world leading’, and ‘internationally’ or ‘nationally recognised’ in Allied Health Professions, English Language and Literature, Theology, Divinity and Religious Studies according to the Research Assessment Exercise (RAE). - Broadstairs Campus offers subjects as diverse as commercial music, digital media, business, police studies, computing, child and youth studies, early years and nursing. it is an accredited Adobe and Apple Mac Training Centre.
Folkestone Campus was opened in partnership with the University of Greenwich and offers specialist, state-of-the-art facilities for the Performing Arts, Business and IT, and Fine Art with Digital Media and is an accredited Apple Mac Training Centre. - Medway Campus is part of the Universities at Medway development, located in a new, custom-designed building on the Chatham Maritime site, close to the historic Chatham Dockyard.
- Salomons Campus at Tunbridge Wells is the home of Applied Social and Psychological Development, the Centre for Leadership and Management Development as well as a well-renowned venue for conferences and weddings.
