Ecologia
Ecologia, a consultant and contractor in contaminated land and ground water remediation was founded in 2000 at Kent Science Park.
The facilities and space available at Kent Science Park have allowed the company to grow from a start-up with three employees to a company with more than 50 staff. Ecologia’s in-house team of qualified scientists, engineers, chemists and geologists has the broad range of expertise required to tackle a wide range of client’s environmental needs.
Tom Hayes, Director at Ecologia, said: “Kent offers us a wealth of suppliers and thanks to its two international stations at Ebbsfleet and Ashford, we are well-placed to serve our clients in the UK and Europe and attract new business from overseas.”
The company intends to expand within Kent Science Park and has plans for a new international headquarters at the site.
The company was named Swale Company of the Year’ at the 2007 Swale Business Awards and won the 2007 Environment Award for Kent Business (innovative technology).
