Invest Thames Gateway will be hosting a round table event at MIPIM 2010.
The debate will be centered on the role and impact that major sporting events play in driving foreign direct investment opportunities into a host location and its surrounding area.
This is an important prelude to research Invest Thames Gateway is undertaking in 2010 to investigate how the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games will specifically impact investment into the Thames Gateway region.
On 28th January, on behalf of Invest Thames Gateway, Detlef Golletz, SEEDA's Head of Transport and Infrastructure will be discussing the strengths of the Thames Gateway as a hub of integrated transport.
He will draw on the findings from Invest Thames Gateway's report Smart Connections: The Essential Role of Transport for Borderless Business. He will also be available for surgery style session with conference attendees.
